Earning Daring Fireball Jackass of the Week honors is something special. Larry Bodine has gone above and beyond the call. I’d love to pick on him, but Giles Turnbull and Wil Shipley have already given it to him good.
I think the sheer stupidity of the post is best illustrated by one single line.
I run several Web sites, all optimized for IE 5.5 or higher. I couldn’t operate my own Web sites with the Mac.
And the Mac pundits rest their case. If you think I’m just taking it out of context, I’m not. Go ahead and read it. It’s not long. And just think, he advises people on technology.
Feel free to give him an additional pounding in the comments.
And this guy is a lawyer or studying to be one? Criminals beware...better to strap yourself to the electric chair then have him represent you...
Wow.
That may just be the funniest "technology" article I've read. Between his inability to use Mail because it requires a dot Mac account, or his IE 5.5 optimized website (which is ugly enough to qualify for a "Optimized for Lynx" badge), I just have to wish him all the luck in the world with his ThinkPad. And his toaster. Any electrical appliance, really.

Grrr, no one will listen to me about the massive underlying problem with the whole article. He has he bought his computer on May 21, 2006. It's a Dual 2.7 GHz PowerMac. Apple stopped making Dual 2.7 GHz PowerMacs last October. Huh? What's up with that? Maybe he's just making it all up because Dell or HP payed him moolah.
