If you often go on extreme journeys and bring your precious data along, you’ll like the new Corsair “Flash Survivor” USB drives. Two models are offered, a 4GB version for $59.99, and a faster, more capacious 8GB model for $129.99.

What’s so special about those memory sticks is their durability. Corsair promises they’re water resistant for up to 200 meters (650 feet) and protected by “anodized aircraft-grade aluminum”. Plus, a shock-absorbing rubber collar makes sure your data is safe from violent impacts and vibrations. Just in case you were still afraid they broke someday, a 10 year limited warranty is included.

Whether you dive into the depths of the oceans or drop your USB sticks from airplanes, those flash drives look like they could be good travel companions. No word yet on whether they’re bullet-proof or not.
