I’m having deja vu from Linksys releasing the iPhone. Other World Computing is releasing its own version of a Mac tablet, the Axiotron ModBook. They haven’t unveiled what it looks like as they’re saving that for the 9th.
I have to wonder though, how do they know that Apple won’t be releasing one that very same day? I know the idea of a Mac tablet hasn’t had the same hype as an Apple cell phone, but I wouldn’t go as far to say that it’s completely out of the realm of possibility. Assuming Apple doesn’t make their own, it’ll be a pretty neat product that can even have a built-in GPS unit. Sweet.
