Well, well, well. Hooray for tiny surprises: my MacBook Air arrived a day early.
And yes: this thing is freakin’ thin.
There are already plenty of great reviews online, so I don’t think any broad-ranging analysis I were to write would be much different. Instead, I’m going to ask you, dear readers, if you have any questions that maybe were not covered in the reviews, or not answered with the depth to fully satisfy your intense curiosity.
So go ahead and drill me in the comments. I’ll do my best to answer them, either there or in a future post.
Can either the ram or flash drive be upgraded in the future...
Is it running 10.5.2?
Does it have 10.5.2 On the air
One question that I would have is how strong/durable does it seem? I was discussing it with a co-worker, and he said he thought it would be unduly fragile (which, ironically, he followed up with an example of *sitting* on it... I'd like to see other laptops endure such indignit... erm... stress). Anyway, how solid does it feel?
Hi Dan,
Do you feel that the thinness and lightness make up for the high price and the comparable lack of features.
I mean - when you've got it in your hands, is it worth it?
Boz
Do you like it? Is the macbook a better option?
Does it have a Kensington cable security slot? Seems like if doesn't have one, which could be very disappointing is such a drool-worthy item.
Do you know if you can migrate your existing system by using a clone off a usb drive?
Of course you can clone the hd either with time machine or some other solution (CCC or super duper for example).
