Most MacUser readers are probably no stranger to ColorWare, the firm which offers to colorize your technological doodads with hues that the manufacturer never intended them to have. As each new addition to the Apple lineup has come out, ColorWare has eventually added them to their repertoire of available products, and that’s no different when it comes to Apple’s latest offerings.
ColorWare’s front page now features “The New Lineup”, including colorized versions of the new 3G iPod nano, the iPod classic, the iPod touch, iPhone, and the new iMac. To those in the market for a new iPod or Mac, you can buy a custom-colored version of the device of your choice for a small premium. ColorWare also offers its services as an aftermarket addition, running anywhere from $64 to $449, depending on the model. With 29 custom colors, you can pick any color of the rainbow, and a few that you probably won’t find in nature.
Me, I’m waiting for the scratch and sniff addition. I want my MacBook to smell like grape Kool-Aid. Someday.
