Bluetooth The very latest and greatest in Bluetooth technology has been released. The big deal this time around is reduced power consumption and easy pairing (you know, hooking two Bluetooth devices together). I know what you’re thinking. “Great, another new version that I won’t see in my Mac until I buy a new one.”

Au contraire. Existing 2.0 hardware can actually be updated through a firmware upgrade. Theoretically, that means current Macs can be updated. Now, putting on the finest in tin foil caps, I’m going to read between the lines for you. That’s the basis of the Mac event next week. Sorry for not putting that in spoiler tags on that, but it had to be said. Not as exciting as you’d hoped, was it?
