Mac mini antique-ified

macminiAntique.jpgPeople do some kwazy stuff. Like tattoo Apple logos on themselves, or eat sushi. But the coolest kwazy stuff are those dripping with so much creativity and beauty that the pointlessness or kwaziness is totally overshadowed by the inspired thought behind them.

Take, for example, Dave Veloz’s mutated Mac mini, keyboard, and monitor, that he designed for his future wife and their wedding reception, where it played a slideshow of their engagement photos. Inspired by The Steampunk Workshop’s antique designs, Dave skinned his tech to look like a typewriter and other dealies from the pre-electric past.

As Steampunk aptly notes, the designs are fabulous and incredibly detailed. Take a look at the Steampunk page for all the sweet photos, and perhaps inspiration to turn your 8-core Mac Pro into a mock Ford Model T.
