C4 is “C4 is an indie conference for indie developers.” Simply put, it’s a conference for independent Mac software developers. If you’re half as geeky or technical as I am, you’ll want to attend. Celebrated speakers include Wolf Rentzsch, Cabel Sasser, friend of the blog Daniel Jalkut, Adam Engst, the suddenly reappeared drunkenbatman, Buzz Andersen, the ever entertaining Wil Shipley, and more.
While I’ve heard nothing but good thins about last year’s event, it’s important to know the focus before you sign up. It’s really aimed at software developers despite a scheduled pizza stop. Unfortunately, traveling to Chicago just isn’t in the cards for me. If it is for you on August 10-12 of this year, I can’t imagine you’ll be disappointed. You’ll even garner my envy.
MacUser is your source for news, info, and opinion about Apple, the Mac, and the iPod. Our dedicated team of bloggers covers everything that is relevant to Mac users — and, okay, some stuff that’s not quite relevant, but is still a lot of fun.
