Apple’s newest iPod game, released today, is called iQuiz, and while it may not impart you any useful knowledge, it will certainly show you a good time. The game actually consists of four different games, one of which is Music Quiz 2, the successor to the iPod’s preloaded Music Quiz game. You can create your own trivia packs and then share them with other people. But if you want a deal, you’d better act fast, as the game is only $.99 right now. The normal price is $4.99.
MacUser is your source for news, info, and opinion about Apple, the Mac, and the iPod. Our dedicated team of bloggers covers everything that is relevant to Mac users — and, okay, some stuff that’s not quite relevant, but is still a lot of fun.
The most interesting aspect of iQuiz is the fact that it allows users to develop their own "trivia packs". I've set up one for lesson 24 of my Coffee Break Spanish podcast. You can download it here: http://media.libsyn.com/media/coffeebreakspanish/cbs-24-iquiz.zip as another example of an iQuiz.
I think iQuiz as a 'mini-platform' is going to be very interesting for teachers.
I def. agree with Mark. I'm looking forward to how it could be used. Maybe have iQuizzes bundled with Podcasts? That would be up your alley Mark!
I just created iQuizLibrary.com for all those iQuizzes that are bound to pop up. I'm trying to get the word out, so please feel free to submit your own! (or others you have found)
