If those numbers mean nothing to you then you’re probably going to want to stop reading this post now—it’s not going to get any more interesting. To those of you still reading, I greet you in the traditional manner of the Dharma Initiative: Namaste (which, come to think of it, is also the traditional greeting of Fake Steve Jobs—coincidence?).
The Lost season finale airs tomorrow night, but if you’re looking for a way to extend your island meanderings into the summer, then get your iPod out and get your game on. The iTunes Store is now selling Lost: The Game (iTunes link) for $4.99. In the game, you take on the role of Doctor Jack Shephard, one of the survivors of Oceanic Flight 815. You must help the other survivors, tend to the wounded, hunt for food, avoid the pesky black smoke, discover the Hatch, and fight the Others.
The game’s story was concocted by the series’s writers, and features “total immersion” in the Lost world, and “faithfully reproduced” settings and characters (so much as is possible when your game platform is a music player. I think I’ll wait for them to someday construct Lost: The Theme Park (LostLand? LostWorld? EuroLost?) for the truly immersive experience.

I don't recommend this game.
I finished the game in 30 minutes, and it's not exactly the sort of game you want to replay multiple times (like, say, Tetris or Bejeweled). The hardest part of the game was getting the controls to do what I wanted them to do. Waste of five bucks.
