Are you a Ragdoll Master?

Ragdoll MastersYears ago, right after the release of Goldeneye for the Nintendo 64 video game console, my two younger brothers and I would spend countless hours, glued to the TV. The older of my brothers would be playing alongside me, and the younger would have a television remote control in his hand, being too young to actualy realize that he wasn’t influencing the action at all. As a result, he never had to deal with the frustration of swarms of Russian soldiers, or the fact that Natalia never seemed to run quite fast enough. Where am I going with this? I thought you’d never ask.

I describe my youngest brother’s early gaming experience in an attempt to explain mine when I play the game Ragdoll Masters, available for Mac or PC. I haven’t the faintest idea of how to control my fighter, and even when I win, I’m not really sure how it happened.

Still, I usually play it once or twice a day, if only for a minute or so. It’s a nice distraction from actual work, and there’s no story to catch your attention. When you need to get back to work, you quit the game.

If you’re looking for a quick game to soak up some spare time, I suggest you check out Ragdoll Masters. The full version sells for $9.95, but you can try it for free. A quck warning: the game incorporates cheesy looking blood effects. If that presents and issue, keep your distance.

I've played the demo about four times now. This is insanely addictive. I guess it's inevitable that I'll pay for the full version.
