Now that the keynote address has been delivered and the dust is settling, Apple has made available a video of the two-hour event on the official website as a QuickTime stream. I tried playing it a few times but it crashed QuickTime Player for me a few minutes into it each time. I’m unsure whether it’s a problem with the video, my Mac or my Internet connection. If it works fine for you, let us know in the comments field below.
If streaming isn’t you thing, you can grab the 1.18GB video from the iTunes Store, where it has been uploaded as an episode on the Apple Keynotes podcast we previously mentioned. It has the added advantage of having better quality than its streaming counterpart.
Go check it out, it might be a while before you see an actual 3G iPhone in action, or the software v2.0 and MobileMe for that matter.
MacUser is your source for news, info, and opinion about Apple, the Mac, and the iPod. Our dedicated team of bloggers covers everything that is relevant to Mac users — and, okay, some stuff that’s not quite relevant, but is still a lot of fun.
I watched the stream last night on my iPhone.
I tried a few times last night and kept getting timeouts. Finally gave up. I would have given it more effort, but I am not really into the iPhone hysteria. Yet.
As if there wasn't already enough reason to hate music licensing, here's another. When Steve is showing off all the countries where the iPhone will be available, "It's a Small World" is playing in the background. That shows up in the streamed version, but not in the podcast. The audio drops out entirely during that segment.
