If you were hoping to file into Moscone West at 9AM on January 15th and see a live performance by Robert Goulet, we have some unfortunate news for you. The keynote presentation at Macworld Expo will actually be given by Apple CEO Steven P. Jobs. I’m sorry to be the bearer of bad news. Also, as long as we’re slinging the hard truths, you should know that Robert Goulet passed away back in October. So any performance by him would just be creepy. We will stop crushing your dreams now, I promise.
Other breaking news today indicates that scientists have determined the sky to be a shade commonly referred to as “blue,” analyst Rob Enderle is “crazy as a 2-gallon jug of crazy juice,” and Steve Ballmer makes small children and pets cry tears of rage.
Also, I’d be remiss if I didn’t remind you that MacUser is published by Mac Publishing LLC, which, like Macworld Expo producer IDG World Expo, is owned by the dictatorial benevolent overlords at International Data Group.
MacUser is your source for news, info, and opinion about Apple, the Mac, and the iPod. Our dedicated team of bloggers covers everything that is relevant to Mac users — and, okay, some stuff that’s not quite relevant, but is still a lot of fun.
Robert Goulet passed away Oct. 30/07.
If we were hoping to see a LIVE performance by Goulat? Nice.
