Apple really wants everyone to watch the launch of the MacBook Air. After having released a streaming video of the event first and then making it available as a free download on the iTunes Store, they have now released a 720p HD streaming video of the Macworld 2008 Keynote Address. So, all you rich kids out there with fat broadband pipes can now watch the keynote in glorious high definition. It truly is the next best thing to actually being there.
Given the trend of Apple releasing a streaming version first and then putting it up on the iTunes Store as a video podcast, I expect and hope that they’ll make this HD version available through the iTunes Store as well. I’ve watched it twice already but I’d be willing to waste one and a half more hour of my life if it’s for the sake of watching the MacBook Air being unveiled in HD.
For those who have, like me, watched the keynote in standard definition before, I’ve some pertinent advice for you regarding the next Macworld keynote - patience is the key, my friends.

Now this is more like it! Finally I feel like HD is actually penetrating into the world.
And I'm sure they're going to make a it a podcast as well, so I'll wait for that.
