If, like me, you’re not a big fan of streaming video and have therefore been unable to watch Steve Jobs take the wraps off the MacBook Air so far, you can now jump with glee and point your browser to this link (iTunes link), because Apple has made the video available from the iTunes Store as a free download.
It weighs in at 892 MB and is only 01:16 hours long, which means that they’ve chopped out what was probably the best part of the show, Randy Newman’s live performance. That’s disappointing, of course, but go ahead if its only the enthusiastically delivered Stevenote (wasn’t he a tad more excited than he usually is?) that you’re interested in. Thanks to Apple for fulfilling two of my wishes, the MacBook Air and this downloadable video, in the span of three days!
MacUser is your source for news, info, and opinion about Apple, the Mac, and the iPod. Our dedicated team of bloggers covers everything that is relevant to Mac users — and, okay, some stuff that’s not quite relevant, but is still a lot of fun.
Randy Newman's first song stunk and was awful... however the old one was good
More excited? Did you watch the iPhone announcement? He practically needed to change his shorts.
Screw it. From what I hear it is a 4:3 video which kind of sucks given that everything is widescreen these days.
I guess I'll just head over to the bittorrent networks which have already grabbed the screen in a nice full screen resolution and guess what, Randy Newman performance! :)
