Apparently Mike Shinoda didn’t get the memo. Or a big, long NDA. He’s spilled the beans about an event he’ll be playing at for Apple.
also, look forward to a special show that we’re doing in NYC in conjunction with apple…shh…it’s a secret…
Uh oh. I hope he’s prepared for the deluge of lawyers that are bound to rush through his door any moment. And they don’t bring danish. That or Apple fans will invade demanding answers to questions like: When is this event? What is it? What’s getting announced? Why am I still having trouble networking with Windows?
I guess we’ll all need to be patient. Yeah, right. Also, let’s hope he’s not just playing with us, like certain iPhone developers.
MacUser is your source for news, info, and opinion about Apple, the Mac, and the iPod. Our dedicated team of bloggers covers everything that is relevant to Mac users — and, okay, some stuff that’s not quite relevant, but is still a lot of fun.
What an idiot.
They may not get the gig after all. It's happened before!
Now I know everyone thinks that the Apple mantra is "think secret" (recently demolished website pun intended.)
But... With the recent success of viral everything, I doubt a large scale concert would be easy to cover up. Who at Apple would want it to be? If I were in NYC and the Apple Fanboy I am there is no question I would work my ass off to get to that concert no matter who was performing.
The NDA is the least of Apple's worries and 90% of the time someone breaks it, APPLawyers get it taken care of. Speculation is better than publicity... "Speculation" continues while "News Media" reports a story once and lets it sink into un-importance. Apple is a speculation giant, and so is this concert.
