As Mac faithful, we feast on every little detail that comes under our beady little eyes, no matter how insignificant it may seem to outsiders. Commercial fine print, license agreements, et cetera. Then there’s our twice-annual ritual of the running of the banners. Before WWDC and Macworld, intrepid bloggers and photographers try to grab a sneak peek at what’s adorning the convention hall.
This time, courtesy of RoughlyDrafted’s Dan Eran, we’ve got a look at the theme for WWDC banners, which appears to be: space. Taking a cue from Time Machine, Apple seems to have decked out the rest of Moscone in a space motif. Other banners read: “Expand your universe,” “Mac OS X Leopard: Rocket fuel for your apps,” and one just has a giant Leopard “X” on a space-like background.
Is the focus on Time Machine just an attempt at misdirection, or is there another space-themed Top Secret Feature coming in Leopard? “Rocket Ship” perhaps? “Hyperdrive?” “Death Star?”
We’ll have to wait to Monday to find out. And as a reminder: we’ll have live coverage of the Jobsnote, so stay with MacUser.

Well, Jobs already showed it, so it's not Top Secret, but there is the (wait for it) Spaces virtual desktop feature in Leopard!
