One of the great debates for newbies and old hacks alike is to argue about where to eat while at Expo.
If I’ve done my job right, this won’t simplify that process, it’ll just make it a lot more convenient.
I present to you MacworldEats v1.2, an update to my 2006 iPod-based field guide of eateries close to Moscone Center. I’ve added five new entries, with the help of my colleagues at the Mothership. To install, follow the original instructions here.
Please leave suggestions and corrections in the comments below.
Bon appétit!
MacUser is your source for news, info, and opinion about Apple, the Mac, and the iPod. Our dedicated team of bloggers covers everything that is relevant to Mac users — and, okay, some stuff that’s not quite relevant, but is still a lot of fun.
Cyrus:
Great info.
By chance, do you have this in a VCF file (export from address book) for those of us who use an iPhone (or any mobile device that works with address book)?
That would be excellent too.
Regards,
Greg
You may want to add Naan N Chutney on 3rd and Bryant. Great Indian food, inexpensive, better than Mehfil in my opinion (Mehfil's is quite bland). A lot of good food for your money, second location on Haight and Fillmore. Also, there is a big food court in the basement of the new Bloomingdales on Market, between 4th and 5th. My favorite is Beard Papa (cream puffs :)
Thanks for the list. Taqueria Cancun was great. Sadly, I found out that "Vino e Cucina" closed so please remove it from the guide for next year.
