There’s nothing like the day before a big Apple event. Can you smell it in the air? Smells like innovation. Everybody’s getting into the swing of it today: Wired News has posted mockups of products that Steve may announce tomorrow, and even that bastion of journalism, the Old Gray Lady herself, has jumped into the speculating ring (I love how proper they are with the “Steven P. Jobs”). The whispers run through the crowds, about what Steve will and won’t announce tomorrow.
For our part, we’ll be here, dishing out news as it comes to us. Our colleagues at Macworld are slick enough to have insinuated themselves into the Yerba Buena center itself (Chris Breen, for example, has been slowly making his way through air ducts so that he’ll be positioned directly over Steve Jobs). Meanwhile, your stalwart four here will be scouring the Intertube as the waves of reaction crash onto the shores of…er…lost my metaphor somewhere. Anyway. Stay with us.
MacUser is your source for news, info, and opinion about Apple, the Mac, and the iPod. Our dedicated team of bloggers covers everything that is relevant to Mac users — and, okay, some stuff that’s not quite relevant, but is still a lot of fun.
Everybody's getting excited about tomorrow's events. If you're interested in seeing speculation from a different source than the Usual Suspects, I summarized an article in today's Barron's. It's the top post today.
