We’re drawing ever closer to the forthcoming special event at this year’s National Association of Broadcasters conference in sunny Las Vegas. Apple’s now sent out invitations giving us a little more detail on the proceedings: the event will take place at the Venetian Ballroom (a cavernous room where I watched a teeny-tiny Bill Gates speak in January) on Sunday April 15th at 11AM Pacific (that’s 2PM for those of us in the East). As far as we know, Apple won’t be offering any sort of live stream for those of us who can’t make it or, ahem, weren’t invited.
I’m sure MacUser’s invitations were just, you know, lost. In the mail. Email. Whatever. Like we really wanted to sit through an hour long presentation on a Final Cut Pro update anyway. Consider yourself uninvited from our birthday party, Steve-o.
Steve, if you’re listening, we were totally just playing up the tough guy angle. We love you. We’d sit through three hours of you discussing your favorite cheeses if it meant you might smile in our direction. Please invite us. Pretty please. With sugar on top.
MacUser is your source for news, info, and opinion about Apple, the Mac, and the iPod. Our dedicated team of bloggers covers everything that is relevant to Mac users — and, okay, some stuff that’s not quite relevant, but is still a lot of fun.
I don't know how far sycophantic begging will go. Apparently threats go much further.
