There may be no keynote at Apple Expo in Paris, but that doesn’t mean Apple doesn’t love the European continent. The UK press have reportedly received word that Apple will be holding a special press event at the Photokina conference in Cologne, Germany on September 25th, just a couple of weeks after the Apple Expo.
Photokina is a photography conference, and so the prevailing knowledge seems to suggest that Apple will be focusing on its Aperture software. This could mean an update to the package, or merely a presentation on the existing version, but OMG I’ve totally got my fingers crossed for a new QuickTake. Please please please please.
Seriously, though, Steve. Snubbing France for Germany? Remember you nothing of 20th century history? Pretty soon Alsace-Lorraine is going to be bouncing back and forth between the two like a game of Pong again.
