Nobody expects the high demand for iPods!

LondonThe Brits sure like their iPods. According to Macworld UK more than 120,000 iPod videos have been sold across the United Kingdom during the current fiscal quarter. It's estimated that 140,000 iPod shuffles have been sold in the UK as well. Meanwhile, iPod nano sales are close to 200,000. Yes, you read that right. That's a lot of nanos. How do sales estimates of Apple's other products break down? Glad you asked!

Mac Pro systems seem well supplied, with channel partners creating stockpiles of the machines in expectation that the release of Adobe Creative Suite 3 will drive upgrade sales when the software ships. Strong sales across Apple’s range in the UK have been confirmed, with heavy demand for all iMac models, MacBooks and MacBook Pros. Demand for the entry-level MacBook will exceed supply this quarter.
Alas, the 1.66 MHz Mac mini is hard to find, as are copies of iLife '06. Sweet (except for the part about the Mac mini and iLife). Yet another reason to love the UK.
