Apple launches the Corporate Gifting and Rewards Program

Corporate GiftsIf you are the owner of a huge organization full of greedy employees expecting you to keep rewarding them every now and then (and threatening to go on a strike otherwise), you might be pleased to know about Apple’s new program to help you reward all those deserving desk jockeys.

Everyone loves iPods. You can make a case for them being the ideal hi-tech gifts for almost any occasion and any person. This program allows you to order a minimum of fifty iPods, which Apple will sell you at a reduced price, and have them engraved or pre-loaded with any company related material you want. The details of the program are as follows:

  • Gift iPods (any model; fifty minimum), iPod accessories, iTunes Gift Cards, MacBooks, MacBook Pros or iMacs.
  • Have the iPods engraved with a message for free or the company logo for a one-time setup fee (logo engraving is not available for the shuffle though).
  • Pre-load custom content for a $10 per unit loading fee on any order of 250 units and above.
  • iTunes Gift Cards come in packs of fifty and denominations of $10, $15, $25 and $50.
  • Points programs allow you to have a system of the employees earning points in exchange for the chosen gifts.
  • iPod nano and shuffle (PRODUCT) RED editions are also part of the program and can only be used for gifting purposes, not for any kind of promotional activity.

If that sounds interesting to you, you can call Apple at 1-877-275-IPOD (that’s 1-877-275-4763, for those living in lala-land, unfamiliar with normal human telecom conventions) or submit your contact information to Apple and they’ll get back to you. Now go ahead and pamper those employees. I’m sure they’ll return the favor on your birthday or something.

What's new about this? Apple's Corporate Gifting and Rewards program has been around for a while, at least since 2005.
