T3 readers apparently can’t get enough Apple, as they’ve voted 4 out of 11 awards belong to Apple products. I have to wonder what Apple does with all these awards. Does Steve keep them in a personal trophy room at his house? Maybe they hand them out to employees randomly. Who knows?
What we do know is that Apple captured Gadget of the Year, Best Music Gadget, Commuter Gadget of the Year, and The Gadget Candy Award with the iPod Touch, iPod Touch, iPhone, and MacBook Air respectively. Out of everything we’ve seen this year, the iPod Touch is the top gadget. Wait. Really? While I’ve certainly eyed the device, I could never bring myself to buy one because I’d sooner get an iPhone.
Hopefully Apple keeps winning awards, no matter how surprising the winners are. More attention means more market share for our favorite company. More importantly, it should lead to more Mac sales and we all like that.
