The UK’s consolation prize: new Mac ads

The iPhone ads weren’t the only ones released this evening: two additional commercials, still featuring the ever-so-funny Mac and PC duo, popped up on Apple’s UK Get a Mac page.

The first ad is a remake of the US version of “Stuffed”: PC painfully enters, slowed down by the trial software that came pre-installed on his hard drive. However, the second appears to be entirely new. PC is dressed in an all-black outfit and attempts to look intelligent by explaining complicated theories about Mac’s choice of color for the cover of a photo book. The moral of the story? Everyone can do beautiful stuff on a Mac.

Still, for folks across the pond, these ads can’t quite eliminate the bitter taste of an iPhone release that’ll only come this fall. Our hearts are with you. Mine especially, since Canada has not been informed of any timeframe for when the phone will cross the border.
