“Get a Mac” campaign launches on TV, Web

Get a MacCyrus already posted on the new “Get a Mac” ads that we predicted last week. I caught the iLife (warning: QuickTime link) ad last night on TV, and I watched a couple of the other ones on Apple’s site this morning.

Besides the ads, Apple has also published a list of 14 reasons why you should consider a Mac over a PC (“4. 114,000 Viruses? Not on a Mac.”), and why all the reasons you never bought a Mac aren’t true anymore. We’re also expecting to see some changes in the Apple Store’s marketing, as we mentioned recently.

Cyrus already identified the PC actor in the TV ads, but the actor who plays the Mac (Justin Long of Ed) actually went to high school with my best friend from college. One wonders if he or John Hodgman are Mac users themselves. Or if they were before Apple undoubtedly plied them with any Mac they wanted.
