Free creative labor

Schlep Mophie had a brilliant idea at Macworld. As I strolled by their booth, I saw dozens of drawings hung in their booth (which consisted of a series of two-by-fours). For the life of me, I couldn’t figure it out. Clearly everyone else did, so maybe I just moved by too fast.

Those drawings went into the Illuminator and three ideas were chosen. The first is, quite naturally, an iPod/iPhone case. I don’t care what anyone says, it’s going to need a case. It’s for attachment to a shoulder strap, which is a case design I personally adore. The second is an iPod shuffle case, keychain, and bottle opener all-in-one. I love it. Now I just need a shuffle to go in it. The final one is a display, speaker, and dock combo for your iPod, letting you look at photos and videos, and listen to music.

Who knew Mac users were so creative?
